Thursday, July 15 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — This Thursday, July 15, the Fair Haven Concerts in the Park welcomes back Aaron Audet to the stage. Aaron and his band are quite popular and there is always a great crowd for their performances, which include acoustic guitar and popular covers. Band members include Jeff Poremski on lead guitar, Chris Johnson on the electric bass, and Ross Edmunds on the drums. Aaron tells us that they are very upbeat and play fun music to listen to and sing along with, as well.
Each year the concert committee and the bands are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from audiences. After the pandemic put a pause on the 2020 Summer Season, the committee is so happy to welcome back many familiar faces. We miss the door prizes this year and hope to see them for summer 2022.
The committee thanks the community and the many wonderful concert sponsors for their continue support. The concert committee would remind everyone that concerts start promptly at 7 p.m. Another reminder: due to concerns caused by the pandemic, the committee did not want to have an indoor location should there be inclement weather. That means in case of severe storms or lightening, the concert will be canceled. For news and information the day of the concert, call the comittee’s hotline at 265- 3010 EXT. 301. The purchase of food, so- das, and water and 50/50 raffles continue to be one way to support the concert. The committee thanks everyone for under- standing as new precautions were put in place to keep everyone safe and healthy.
