May 29-30—SPRINGFIELD— Springfield Humane Society is hosting its annual Memorial Day weekend tag sale. Every spring and fall it has a large fundraiser to raise money for animal care.
Annually, the humane society takes in approximately 600 animals – not only cats and dogs, but also rabbits, turtles, frogs, snakes, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, and much more. It not only supports the Springfield area but also 11 other towns in Vermont and New Hampshire as well.
This year’s tag sale will be held at 401 Skitchewaug Trail (Rt. 143) in Springfield on May 29 – 30 at 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Anyone wishing to donate can call Anne at 802-376-2663.
