All adults 16-plus can sign up for a Covid-19 vaccine

Vermont teens age 16-18 became eligible for vaccine signup early on Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m. The full age band (including 19- to 29-year-olds) followed Monday, April 19 at 6 a.m.
About 47,000 have registered, or 40% of that age group, said Jenney Samuelson, deputy secretary of the Agency of Human Services, at the press conference Tuesday, April 20.
Every adult in the state is now eligible for the vaccine.
In total, 54% of Vermonters age 16-plus (295,128 people) have received at least one dose of vaccine and 37% were fully vaccinated, as of Monday.
Mike Pieciak, commissioner of the Dept. of Financial Regulation, said the data showed the state is on track to meet its vaccination targets for reopening fully by July 4, the plan calls for 50%-60% of all Vermonters to have at least one dose by May 1.
On April 30, Vermont expects to open vaccine registration to college students who are residents of another state and do not intend to stay in Vermont for the summer, as well as to those who live part of the year in Vermont.
