Windsor Central students in grades 9-12 will go back to school four days per week for in-person instruction on April 19, after spring break Principal Garon Smail announced, Tuesday, April 6. Wednesdays will remain remote days.
While elementary students resumed four days a week for in-person instruction in the fall. Middle school and high school students were not able to do so due to the 6-foot distancing requirement for older students.
The CDC issued new guidance last month permitting 3 feet of physical distance in schools and the state has followed suit. Woodstock Union Middle School began four days of in-person instruction a few weeks ago.
“After more than a year of very limited in-person time, we are excited for students to return to campus!” wrote Smail, April 6.
