AIA Vermont Announces Call for Applications for Community Outreach Grant

Grant Named in Honor of Former Executive Director, Carol Miklos

AIA Vermont is requesting applications for their Community Outreach Grant, named in honor of Carol Miklos, who served as AIA Vermont’s Executive Director from 2008 until 2018.

The grant amount has increased this year to $1000. There will be one round of applications reviewed in 2021. The deadline for applications to be submitted is April 1, 2021. This award is intended to create a funding source to support initiatives which have the potential to foster engagement with architecture and design in Vermont’s communities.

During her tenure with the organization, Carol’s steady hand at management helped to grow the chapter and position it as a resource to members and the larger community, as evidenced in the many activities and initiatives she oversaw.

In recognition of Carol’s extraordinary commitment to Vermont’s architectural community over the past decade, this grant will help carry that energy and enthusiasm forward.

This grant aims to support initiatives and special funding requests that are aligned with the mission of AIAVT. Applications may be submitted by AIA Members, architecture students, as well as the general public.

The application process for this grant can be found at https://www.aiavt.org/resources/outreach-grant/
