The town of Killington debuts its 24/7 short-term rental hotline and online complaint form

On Feb. 4, the town of Killington announced  its program for residents to report non-emergency issues concerning a short-term rental (STR) property via an online complaint form or by call the Killington complaint hotline. Non-emergency issues may include noise, lighting, parking violations, occupancy-limit violations, an illegal rental or trash issues, the town stated in the news release.

The 24/7 STR complaint hotline is: 802-308-3659.

The online complaint form allows for audio, video, and document upload.

Access to the 24/7 STR complaint hotline and online complaint form can be found on killingtontown.com in the Planning & Zoning Department under the heading “short-term rental registration and complaints.”

Residents may also file a formal complaint with the Killington Town Offices by emailing or calling Preston Bristow, town planner, at: planner@killingtontown.com or 802-422-3241 ext. 3 during business hours.

“If you have an emergency, do not call the short-term rental complaint hotline – call 911,” the release reminded residents.
