The Rutland County Sheriff’s Department has been focusing on speeds in the area of Gouchberg Farms Market And Deli (the straight stretch) on Route 103 in North Clarendon.
Some drivers have been ticketed for operating between 65 – 86 mph in this stretch. This section of Route 103 is a posted 50 mph zone and has seen critical crashes over the years.
Route 103 is not an interstate and should be driven as conditions allow or at posted limits. The Sherriff’s Department warns drivers to slow down on this road.
