PMNRCD holds its annual plant sale

The Poultney Mettowee Natural Resource Conservation District is holding its annual plant sale. This year it is offering a variety of native trees, edible plants, and shrubs for landscaping or  naturalizing , including: balsam fir, sugar maple, serviceberry, winterberry, red mulberry, American plum, elderberry, hazelnut, apple, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and asparagus.

Native plants are more likely to thrive in our regional  climate and they provide critical resources for wildlife. Consider these plants for backyard birds and pollinators, stabilizing stream banks and shorelines, or for use in rain gardens.  The sale includes a 2021 PMNRCD calendar featuring photos taken by staff and local producers.

Please visit pmnrcd.org/champlain-valley-native-plant-restoration-nursery/ to view our catalog and order form. Orders will be taken until April 22. If ordering after March 30, for best availability, please email or call to ensure your request can be filled. Pick up is May 8 at the Champlain Valley Native Plant Restoration Nursery. Questions? Email sadie@pmnrcd.org or call (802) 287-6606. Happy planting!
