Wagon rides, candle dipping and a cup of wassail at Billings Farm & Museum

December 11-13—WOODSTOCK— The spirit of Wassail Weekend is alive at Billings Farm & Museum, December 11, 12 and 13, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Tractor-drawn wagon rides are offered on Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Take in the gorgeous Vermont winter views by the fire pit while warming up with a cup of wassail and cider doughnuts served at the Dairy Bar. Step back in time to a festive Victorian Christmas with their authentically decorated Farmhouse parlor exhibit. Enjoy holiday stories and cooking demonstrations of holiday foods and gingerbread ornaments. Make your own candle to take home at the candle dipping station!

Find local Vermont products and Billings Farm cheeses in the museum gift shop. There’s something for everyone: games and stuffed toys, honey, syrup, Vermont specialty foods and much more. Visit during museum hours or visit our holiday gift shop online. Online orders can be shipped or try  next day pickup from the visitor center.

Christmas at the Farm continues Dec. 19-Jan. 3 (excluding Christmas Day). The Farm & Museum is open weekends and vacation weeks through February, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or online  anytime  at  billingsfarm.org/billings-farm-at-home/.

Note that as of July 1, 2020,  the Billings Farm & Museum site is limited to a maximum capacity of 225 people at one time, per state of Vermont guidance, and face coverings must be worn by all  guests over the age of 2 everywhere on the site, including outdoors.  For more about visiting Billings Farm safely,  updates on site capacity, and to learn which spaces are open,  visit billingsfarm.org/safety/.
