Vermont’s Legislature passed H.C.R.337 designating Oct. 6, 2020, as Vermont Mask Day. The initiative was led by Masks4Missions, a non-profit organization that partners with other Vermont non-profits to create fun-to-wear decorated masks.
A youth-led and youth-centric organization, Masks4Missions is a collaboration of Vermont’s schools, colleges, non-profits, and businesses all coming together with a shared goal of keeping Vermont safe. Covid-19 threatens not only Vermonters’ health, but also our connections to each other and our community. Masks have the potential to save lives, but to do that, masks must be used. Masks4Missions believes that masks dressed with fun and colorful images will be worn more often.
