The 77th Annual Vermont Conference on Recreation is being held on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 23 and 24.
This year’s conference theme is “Creating Our Vision.” This theme was selected long before the onset of Covid. In hindsight, it seems very fitting.
As a result of Covid, they will be meeting virtually rather than in-person this year. As an added benefit of a virtual conference, all the sessions will be recorded and you can catch any session you missed during the conference in the recordings afterwards.
The education program is varied, relevant and Covid-related, and includes 20 different sessions as well as virtual chats, lunch & learns and even a social. If you are a parks, recreation or trails volunteer or professional, this is a not-to-be-missed event.
Go to the Vermont Recreation & Parks Association (VRPA) website at vrpa.org to find the conference brochure and links to online registration for both attendees and commercial exhibitors. You can register for one day or both days.
Plan to zoom into the 77th Annual Vermont Conference on Recreation…it is one of the oldest in the country! This conference is a great opportunity to network with others from all over the state of Vermont who share your passion for parks, recreation and trails.
