WOODSTOCK—Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage, announces the results of the 2020 “People’s Choice” awards for the 34th annual quilt exhibition, held July 18 – Sept. 7, 2020.
Nearly 7,500 visitors viewed the exhibition and over 1,100 ballots were cast for favorite quilts.

Full size quilts:
First place: Diamonds and Hearts in the Stars – Josette Jones, Windsor
Second Place: Fiesta – Kathy Geagan, Brownsville
Third Place: Peace – Sandra S. Palmer, Hartland
Small/Medium size quilts:
First: Adoration of the Dragon Child – Mara Novak, Hartland
Second: Blooming Batik Bouquets –Susan Hall, Hartland
Third: Edgar – Linda Diak, Chester
At the exhibition opening, the Jurors’ Choice Awards were presented to Judi Simon-Bouton of White River Junction, for her quilt, “Square in a Square,” by juror Colleen O’Neil; “Salmo at Sea,” made by Susan Damone Balch of Reading, selected by juror Marti DelNevo; Linda Diak of Chester, was selected by juror Nola Forbes for her quilt “Edgar.” The Billings Farm & Museum Staff Choice was awarded to Josette M. Jones of Windsor, for her quilt “Diamonds and Hearts in the Stars.”
