Join the Rutland County Humane Society on Saturday, Aug. 22 for a fun and socially distanced day of treasure hunting, all to support the care of homeless animals in the community. The yard sale will be from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Rutland County Humane Society (765 Stevens Rd. Pittsford). A rain date is Sunday, Aug. 23. There will be a large variety of items to look through and something for everyone. Make sure to bring your sweet tooth for the delicious bake sale they will have, and please no early birds. Donations are welcome, and you don’t have to pre-price them! All items must be in working order. No clothing, shoes, textbooks, magazines or computer equipment. Donation items can be dropped off at the brown building next to the RCHS shelter on Friday, August 21 from 8 a.m. -6 p.m. or on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. only.
