Aug. 1-3—WOODSTOCK—Billings Farm & Museum, “gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage,” will host Tractor Days, a three-day celebration. On Aug. 1 – 2 the events will take place onsite at Billings Farm & Museum. On Aug. 3, Tractor Days will continue online at
billingsfarm.org.
Each day will have a theme. Saturday, Aug. 1 will feature tractor-drawn wagon rides from 11 a.m.– 3 p.m. (riders will be limited by social distancing).
The fun continues Sunday, Aug. 2 with the 20th annual Antique Tractor Day. Watch the tractor parade at 11 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. and cheer on your favorite tractor in the “Slow Race” at 1 p.m. Meet the tractor exhibitors and hear about the historical background and restoration of each tractor. Be sure to vote for your favorite tractor to receive the People’s Choice Award!
Both days: Kids can have fun making bubbles and riding pedal tractors! Pedal tractors will be available each day from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Take a tractor-themed story walk. Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenic pastures, see the farm animals, visit the gardens and learn about Vermont’s rural history. The dairy bar opens at 11 a.m. and serves Vermont ice cream and other Billings Farm dairy products. Billings Farm’s award-winning cheeses will be available for purchase at the dairy bar and in their outdoor gift shop.
On Monday, Aug. 3 watch the parade and learn more about antique tractors online at Billings Farm at Home and on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
