Thursday, June 18 at 5 p.m.—The Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum invites members and the public to its annual meeting and a special viewing of the VTSSM short film, “Vermont Skiing Through the Years.” This film, created in 2002 for the opening of the museum at its current location in Stowe, serves as a visual reminder and dedication to the importance of the Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum. The movie traces the winter history of Vermont from Fred Harris’ Brattleboro ski jump in 1908 through the introduction of snowboarding in the 1980s. Along the way it highlights some of the ski and snowboard stars who came from Vermont.
