Thursday, May 28 at 12 p.m.—We all miss the feeling of being grounded and connected that comes from making art together, which is why Inclusive Arts Vermont wants you to join then for an adult open studio! On Thursday, May 28, join teaching artist Alexandra Turner for a process-focused, open-ended, group experience. Beforehand you’ll want to gather up materials you have on hand, at least some paper and a pen or pencil (though colored pencils, markers, crayons and/or paints are welcome too.) Maybe some tape or glue, scissors, paper bags, scraps of tinfoil, bits and bobs… whatever you’ve got! If you would rather work three-dimensionally, grab some playdough, bread dough, even that old ball of sticky-tack from your desk drawer. This first open studio session will explore the theme of connection. We will connect, make together, and close with sharing and reflection.
This workshop is intended for adults. A family open studio will take place on Monday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. Join Inclusive Arts Vermont teaching artist Alexandra Turner for a process-focused, open-ended, family group art time! Parents or caregivers are invited to join in and make along with their children, no prior experience required.
These workshops will take place via Zoom. If you need assistance setting it up, please email info@inclusiveartsvermont.org and they’ll happy to give it a test run with you. Register online, email info@inclusiveartsvermont.org or call 802-871-5002.
