Killington Music Festival cancels summer season

KILLINGTON – Killington Music Festival has canceled what would have been its 38th summer season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a letter from the Maria Fish, executive director, and Daniel Andai, artistic director, that they posted on the Killington Music Festival website.

“Killington Music Festival has been monitoring local, state, and national safety and prevention advisories surrounding the pandemic. After careful consideration and prioritization for the well-being of festival participants, volunteers, community members, and many others, we have decided to cancel this summer’s Residency Program and Concert Series,” the letter read. “We believe KMF’s mission to support community engagement through music education and performance is more relevant than ever. We extend our sincere thanks for your support and participation and look forward to seeing you in 2021…Please stay safe and healthy!” Fish and Andai concluded.

Tentative residency dates for next summer are: June 26, 2021 – July 23, 2021. Tentative concert series dates are: June 26, 2021 – July 24, 2021.
