Cartographer Bill Morris shares map science in Rutland

Friday, March 13 at 1:30 p.m.—RUTLAND—OLLI, sponsored by UVM, promotes continuing education for area residents 50 and older. Curious adults are invited to a series of lectures at the Godnick Adult Center. On Friday, learn “The Meaning of a Map.”

Bill Morris, cartographer and data scientist with Faraday, Inc. in Burlington, will speak. Using a set of meaningful maps as a guide, participants will fly backward and forward through cartographic history to give it all some context.
