Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.—QUECHEE— Mark your calendar and make a reservation for Valentine’s Day when Kind Bud plays The Public House in Quechee. On the jamband scene since 2004, Kind Budhas played with Oteil Burbridge, David Gans, member of NRPS, Fred Tackett and Doug Wimbish, to name a few. Come sing along with Kind Bud as he will play all your favorites love songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – that is, if it is on his list of over 500 songs.
Then on Saturday, Kind Bud joins up with Nug to play another free show at Sugarbush’s Mount Ellen at 3 p.m., performing the act he has named “Kind Dubs.” During performances, Bud “dubs” his guitar with a recording device, creating live loops he can then play back and improvise solos over. Joining Kind Bud on percussion will be Nug.
Sugarbush is located at 626 Mt. Ellen Road in Waitsfield. The Public House is located at 5813 Woodstock Road in Quechee.
