Smiles radiated as the sled picked up speed — and air — careening down a hill off Miller Brook Road in Killington.
Maddie, age 6, and her dad Erik Holmes, from Medford, Massachussetts, took advantage of good sledding conditions after skiing this past Saturday and Sunday.
Snow conditions have been variable this season but this past weekend, reports were positive both on the slopes at Killington Resort and on local sledding hills. Additionally, temperatures rose to the mid-30s and bright sun added to the unseasonably warm experience, which made outdoor play of all sorts particularly enjoyable.
