Some skiers and riders were left stranded when a downed tree knocked out power at a portion of Killington Resort on Saturday, Dec. 28.
The power went out around 9:40 a.m. and was restored around 3 p.m.. The resort’s radios were also knocked out, making it difficult for staff to communicate with each other.
Access to the Skysehip Base and Bear Mountain was closed off and the Skyeship Gondola and Skye Peak Express Quad shut down.
