Thursday, Nov. 28 at 9:30 a.m.—KILLINGTON—The 9th annual Killlington 5k Turkey Trot will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving day at the Pickle Barrel in Killington.
The run will happen rain, snow or shine and proceeds benefit local charities and organizations.
The primary beneficiary of the 2019 race is Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region. Other beneficiaries include the Greater Killington Women’s Club and the Killington-Pico Rotary Club.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the race.
The Pickle Barrel is located at 1741 Killington Road in Killington.There will be live music, a bar and raffles after the races. All ages welcome. For more information visit killingtonturkeytrot.com.
