Police investigate threat at Chester school

Police are investigating a threat at Green Mountain Union High School Monday, Feb. 4.

Chester Police Chief Cloud said in a press release that had been directed against the school through Facebook.

Cloud was working with the state police to investigate the situation. He said Tuesday morning that the person who made the threat lives in the mid-west.

Despite the threat, school was open Tuesday with police precense. The GMUHS administration and staff are collaborating with the Chester police to maintain the safety of the school.
