Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.—PITTSFORD—On Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., the Town of Pittsford will dedicate its new veterans memorial. The memorial honors those from our community who have honorably served in the United States Armed Forces around the world and wore a uniform to protect our freedom and way of life.
Nov. 11 is designated as Veterans Day, as it marks the anniversary of the signing of the armistice which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied Nations and Germany in 1918. This day is intended to honor and thank all military personnel who served their country and the Town of Pittsford is proud to pay tribute to its veterans with the dedication of this memorial.
Please join in honoring the community’s veterans at the dedication being held at the town office, 426 Plains Road, Pittsford. Light refreshments will be served.
