Saturday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.—CASTLETON—Come out and join the fourth annual Freeze Out. Supporters will be sleeping outside the American Legion Post 50 in Castleton from 4 p.m., Oct. 15 until 11 a.m., Oct. 16. The event is held annually to shine a light on the plight of far too many brothers and sisters in arms. Please bring new or gently used cold weather wear: coats, boots, socks, hats, gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.
The Castleton American Legion will be holding its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast for $9 on the morning of the Oct. 16. So come join, bring a sleeping bag and stay for breakfast.
Cash donations are also welcomed to help buy food.
