Sunday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.—PLYMOUTH NOTCH—The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site welcomes two outstanding regional musicians for the Grace Coolidge Musicale on Sunday, Oct. 9. Abigail Charbeneau and Kathleen Lyon-Pingree will perform in the Coolidge Museum and Education Center at 4 p.m. The 45-minute concert is free and open to the public; donations are welcome.
This is the first time the series will feature a harp. Boston Ballet harpist Katie Lyon-Pingree will play solo repertoire, accompanied by pianist Abigail Charbeneau for special selections, including the popular Shaker tune “Simple Gifts.” Sacred, classical, and Celtic music and the hall’s fine acoustics will make this an afternoon to remember.
This is the final concert of the 2016 Grace Coolidge Musicales. For further information, call 802-672-3773 or visit HistoricSites.Vermont.gov/Coolidge.
