Low cost cat spay/neuter clinic offered

Monday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 a.m.—PITTSFORD—The Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) is working with VT-CAN (a low cost spay/neuter clinic in Vermont) to host a low cost spay/neuter clinic for Rutland County cats on Monday, Aug. 22 in Pittsford. Cats need to be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. and picked up at 4:30 p.m. Transportation from the old American Red Cross building parking lot (by the Howe Center on Strongs Avenue) in Rutland is available but must be requested when scheduling your cat. Prior registration is required.
Female cat spays and male cat neuters are $60 including rabies and distemper shots. Limited financial assistance is available. If you are in need, ask about eligibility when scheduling your appointment. Space is limited so please register soon. Limited to Rutland County residents. To register your cat(s) or for more information, contact VT-CAN at 802-223-0034 or e-mail [email protected].
