Town of Killington to break ground on Mountain Bike Trail

Proposed network will link resort trails with Forest Service

KILLINGTON—Construction on the first three miles of an extensive mountain bike trail network in Killington will begin following a formal groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, Aug. 5 at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place off Route 100 North, approximately 0.25 miles north of Lakewood Drive.

When completed, the network will boast 15+ miles of mountain bike trails.

Access to  trails on Forest Service land will be free and open to the public with easy riding for all ages and experience levels.
