A community member gets a tour of the fully equipped studio kitchen at PEGTV.
Thursday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m.—RUTLAND—PEGTV will hold an open house on Thursday, Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at building 24 in the Howe Center, located on One Scale Avenue in Rutland.
The public will be able to meet staff, board members, tour the studios, and experience being on set in front of the green screen. There will be info on becoming a volunteer producer, how to start your own show or record community events.
“We are excited to provide the public with this opportunity to visit and tour one of the best public access television studios in Vermont and meet the friendly staff that can show them how to best utilize it,” said Stacy Kent, PEGTV outreach coordinator.
WJJR will be broadcasting live. Guests can enjoy free hot dogs and and ice cream and register to win a 50” Samsung HD smart TV!
PEGTV is comprised of Comcast channels 15, 20 and 21; and VTel channels 163, 164, and 165 and is available throughout Rutland County to cable subscribers. Streaming programming, hyper-local weather forecasts, and video-on-demand services are also available at pegtv.com.
