Killington Resort hosts United Way Day, July 26

Tuesday, July 26—KILLINGTON—Killington Resort will host its 11th annual United Way Day on Tuesday, July 26. The United Way of Rutland County will receive half of sales as all guests enjoy Locals Days discounts typically reserved for residents of Vermont and New Hampshire.

The Locals Days deal, extended to all guests Tuesday, is offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays all summer long to residents, who save 50 percent off adult rate scenic lift rides, Adventure Center day passes, mountain bike lift and trail tickets, Mountain Bike Learn to Ride Packages and Segway tours.

“By supporting United Way of Rutland County, you help to advance the health, education and financial stability of the people of our region,” said the United Way of Rutland County representatives in a statement. “Change happens because of YOU! We are delighted that one of the ways Killington Resort supports us is by setting aside this special day to benefit our annual community campaign. It should be a very fun way to support the cause!”

“Every year Killington enjoys partnering with our local United Way chapter to raise awareness and funds for their mission in our community,” said Rob Megnin, Killington’s director of sales and marketing. “We make an effort to support the United Way’s efforts in Rutland County all year, and we encourage our guests to make a donation and take advantage of a day filled with summer adventures.”
