Shrewsbury man crashes ATV, hospitalized

SHREWSBURY — On June 26, at 10:27 p.m., members of the Vermont State Police responded to an ATV crash on Upper Cold River Road in the town of Shrewsbury. The Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Department also responded to assist at the crash scene. Troopers arrived on scene and through the course of the investigation learned Neal Sharrow, age 24 from Shrewsbury, was operating his ATV on Upper Cold River Road when he lost control and struck a tree.

Sharrow was transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center where he awas treated for his injuries and subsequently transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

This crash remains under investigation, according to the police report submitted by Trooper Christopher Loyzelle of the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks.
