July 3-4 at 10 a.m. — MOUNT HOLLY — Mount Holly Library’s Independence Day book sale is Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, at the Mount Holly Town Library, 26 Maple Hill Road, Belmont. There will be thousands of books waiting to be purchased, including adult nonfiction and fiction. The donations continue to pour in so don’t miss out on great books at great prices for a great cause.
On Monday, July 4, come for the annual parade at 11 a.m., an example of America’s small town traditions at its best. The Odd Fellows will be barbecuing chicken for lunch.
