Killington opens town pool a week early

KILLINGTON – The Town of Killington opened its municipal pool a week early for the summer season. Originally set to open June 4, the pool first opened to the public Saturday, May 28, in time for folks to seek some relief from the Memorial Day weekend heatwave. The town parks and recreation staff, Kim Peters and Jeff Hegewald worked hard to get the pool ready ahead of schedule.

The pool will remain open weekdays from 3-7 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Beginning Monday, June 13, normal summer hours will be: adult swim weekdays from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. and 12-7 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Summer pool passes are free for Killington residents. Daily rates for non-Killington residents are $4/day for adults, $2/day for children 12 and under. Season passes are also available for $30/adult and $15/child or $50 for a family of four.
