May 27-30 — BENSON — Old King Farm Healing & Retreat Center announces its 7th annual Biodynamic Spring Fling event, taking place on Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30.
Led by experts in the fields of biodynamic farming, eco-spirituality, and sustainable living, participants will learn key principles of practical ecology and how every person can help heal the environment. Event sessions will include unique research on Pranic agriculture, biodynamic gardening, and multiple ways to practice green living. Breakout sessions will include a medicinal herb walk, intro to eco-shamanism, art and yoga classes, Qi Gong exercises, guided meditations, sacred ceremonies and much more. Participants will also enjoy gourmet, locally-sourced organic/biodynamic food, social activities plus a free live concert with Burlington’s Revibe and special guests on Sunday, May 29.
In addition, all are welcome to a special, free lecture, “Sacred Fire: The Spirit of Sustainable Agriculture” led by Dr. Orest Pelechaty at Mercy Farm Eco-Spirituality Center, 56 Howard Hill Road in Benson on Monday, May 30 at 10 a.m. Lunch by donation is included.
