RUTLAND — Flip Side Skatepark at Giorgetti is one of the largest indoor skate parks in the state of Vermont, designed with transition and flow in mind and constructed with quality materials for skateboards, inline skaters and BMX bikers. It opens for the season on Saturday, May 21. Season passes, punch passes, and daily passes available.
Flipside is offering a number of summer camps again this year for ages 6 – 15. There will be a beginner camp for those looking to learn how to skateboard and intermediate camp for kids who are experienced but want to learn more. A girls-only camp is aimed at girls who are new to skateboarding but will also challenge those who can already ride the mini ramp. A 10-and-under camp will offered for the beginner boarder and will allow kids to learn at their own pace. A BMX biking camp is available as well for the beginner to experienced rider, from trail riding to rails and jumps.
And back again this year is the popular skateboard travel camp, for intermediate and advanced only ages 8 and up. Hit the best skateparks in Vermont and beyond. Each day, campers will travel to a new skate spot – from 12 foot vertical ramps to cement bowls and everything in between. Camps fills up fast so register early.
