Rutland announces dates for caucuses

RUTLAND — Rutland City and Rutland Town Republican Committees have announced dates for caucuses to elect delegates for the Vt. State Republican Convention set for May 21. The purpose of the State convention will be to elect 13 delegates to represent Vermont Republicans at the national convention in Cleveland Ohio in July.

Rutland City and Rutland Town caucuses are both set for Tuesday, April 19. The City group will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Rutland City Police Building community room and the Town committee will meet at Rutland Town Municipal building downstairs at 5 p.m. For more info, contact Rutland City Chair Wendy Wilton, [email protected], 802-770-0743 or Rutland Town Chair Bill Matteson, 802-775-3308. For info on other town caucuses, visit vtgopconvention.com.
