Heritage FCU presents proceeds check to Wonderfeet, Friday

RUTLAND — Join Heritage Family Credit Union for the presentation of the proceeds of the third annual Shiver Me Shamrocks St. Patty’s 5K Fun Run & Walk on Friday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at the Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum at 11 Center Street in Rutland.

The sun was shining and with the wind at their backs almost 300 community members joined for the 5k Fun Run and Leprechaun Leap, making it the most successful Shiver Me Shamrocks to date. Now, Heritage Family Credit Union and the other sponsors, hope the community will join in celebrating the success at Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum, this Friday at 2 p.m. Proceeds of the event will go to supporting additional programming at the museum including the development of a “credit union” for the village to help young people learn about personal finances.

For more information, call Mark Grossarth at Heritage Family Credit Union at 802-776-2176.
