Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m. — LUDLOW — The FOLA Follies, “Comedy Tonight,” will arrive in Ludlow on April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium. According to director Tesha Buss, this edition of the Follies will “provide a lot of laughter for the audience so that it will definitely leave the auditorium with a smile.”
This edition of the Follies, in rehearsals for the past six months, will be geared to promoting happy and comedic songs, performed by area singers, that will be upbeat and funny—and in some cases, very unusual.
Some of the numbers planned for this, the third FOLA Follies, will include: “I’m going to Wash that Man Right Out of My Hair;” “Anything You Can Do, I Can do Better;” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off;” plus many more great comedic numbers.
The cast for this year’s Follies will include: Aiyana Fortin, Sherri Geimer, Samantha Holmberg, Dave Bonta, Ed McEneany, Kevin Kuntz, Bob Kottkamp, Andy Ohotnicky, Joey Blane, Linda Thomson, Lisha Klaiber, and Tesha Buss. The entire production is directed by Tesha Buss with musical accompaniment supplied by Kasia Karazim. Bailey Matteson will handle lighting with Paul Terrasi managing the audio.
The Follies is open to the public and is free; donations to underwrite the costs of the production are appreciated. For more information, call 802-228-7239 or visit fola.us.
