Steve Costello won best costume for men (he had his hair and bear professionally dyed at Avanti!), and for women it was Donna Towler.

Shiver Me Shamrocks 5K held Saturday to benefit Wonderfeet

On Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. runners and walkers (most in costumes) took part in the third annual Shiver Me Shamrocks 5K to benefit the Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum. Younger runners had the opportunity to participate in the Leprechaun Leap Fun Run down Center Street. Prizes for best costumes were also awarded.

After the race, fellow runners and walkers celebrated St. Patty’s Day (a few days ahead of the actual holiday on March 17) at the Hop’n Moose. Heritage Family Credit Union sponsored the annual event.
