Saturday, March 19 at 5 p.m. — KILLINGTON — Head to the Pickle Barrel Nightclub at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 for the long awaited Mac & Jamie Reunion. The band had a successful run in Killington for 10 seasons that ended in 2006 when Mac moved to Colorado. This date is important in Killington apres ski history as it marks the 16th anniversary of their firing from the Wobbly Barn, changing apres in Killington.
Mac & Jamie shows at the Wobbly were legendary. Five hundred people packed into the Wobbly on a weekly basis to drink with the band and hear music, until they played an unannounced Pickle Barrel Crow’s Nest show in March, 2000. Management was not pleased and the duo was fired. The Wobbly apres was never the same and neither was the Pickle Barrel’s. Pickle packed the house from then on out.
