Sanders’ staff to host series of meetings in Windsor County

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday, March 8, that his office will host three open houses next Tuesday, March 15, in Windsor County.

The senator has a five-member team of constituent advocates dedicated to helping Vermonters on a wide range of issues. The most typical inquiries are from people looking for help with Social Security, veterans issues, housing problems and immigration matters. The three meetings in Windsor County on Tuesday, March 15, will also provide an opportunity for Vermonters to discuss pending federal legislation with the senator’s staff. The open houses will be held in Ludlow, Springfield and White River Junction at the following times and locations:

10 a.m. in Ludlow at the Fletcher Memorial Library

12-noon in White River Jct. at the Bugbee Senior Center

2 p.m. in Springfield at the Springfield Town Library

New donut shop opening in Ludlow

The grand opening of New England Cider Donuts at 29 Main St. in Ludlow was recently celebrated with a ribbon cutting.
