PARMALEE

Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. — KILLINGTON — The hot country band Parmalee will take the stage at the Pickle Barrel Nightclub on Wednesday, Feb. 24.  The show is open to anyone 18 years of age and older; those under 18 will be admitted with a parent or guardian.

Parmalee is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar). Influenced by such musical heavyweights as the Allman Brothers, Travis Tritt and Bob Seger, the band’s name is derived from the small town of Parmele, N.C. (population 262), which is home to a small tin-roofed barn dubbed Studio B where the band practiced on every given evening.

Parmelee’s debut album “Feels Like Carolina” earned critical praise and yielded three consecutive top ten hits, including the #1 single, “Carolina.” Their debut single, “Musta Had a Good Time,” became a fan favorite and Top 40 hit on mainstream country radio, and has been used on nationally broadcast sporting events from the NFL to the PGA and MLB.

Parmalee has earned 236 million Pandora streams, 29 million plays on Spotify, over 14.8 million YouTube/ VEVO views and sold 1.5 million singles. The band has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on “The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson,” “FOX & Friends,” “The Queen Latifah Show,” “WGN Midday” and more.

Tickets for Parmalee may be purchased online, at JAX Food & Games, or at the Pickle Barrel during business hours. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the performance.  Doors open at 8 p.m.

The Pickle Barrel is located midway on the Killington Road. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.picklebarrelnightclub.com or call the Pickle Barrel Nightclub at 802-422-3035.
