Sunday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. — RANDOLPH — Jjoin the Chandler Film Society on Sunday, Feb. 21 to see “Young Frankenstein,” a hilarious movie featuring a great cast (Gene Wilder, Teri Garr, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Madeline Kahn, Peter Boyle) filled with one-liners that you or your parents probably bust out to this day.
Come see the cult classic with an audience who’ll laugh along with you at the hilarious campy comedy, actual set from the 1931 film of “Frankenstein,” and perhaps even sing along to the most memorable version of Puttin’ on the Ritz you’ll ever see. The American Film Institute rated “Young Frankenstein” no. 13 on its 100 Funniest American Movies list. Writer/Producer Mel Brook’s felt it was the finest movie he’d ever made.
Films show at 6:30 p.m. in Chandler’s Esther Mesh room, but come early for light snacks (popcorn!) and beverages and stay for Rick Winston’s informative commentary. Tickets are $9 at the door, $5 for members and students (K-12 and VTC). Season memberships are available for $25 for an individual; $45 for a couple.
