The first annual Beast of a Bike Swap is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend at Killington Mountain, May 27-29, 2016. The event is scheduled to coincide with the long-standing Killington Stage Race and opening weekend of the Killington Bike Park.

In addition to consigned used bikes, the Beast of a Bike Swap will offer new bikes, parts and accessories, apparel, and more, through independent retailers and local and regional brands’ pop-up stores.

“This is going to be New England’s largest bike swap,” said Chris Clarke, Killington Ski Club president. “We have so much going on during this holiday weekend – between mountain biking at the resort bike park to the Stage Race – there will be thousands of bike fanatics coming to Killington for the weekend.”

The event will be held at the Snowshed Lodge at Killington Resort. It is free and open to the public during the following hours:

  • Friday, May 27 4pm – 8pm
  • Saturday, May 28 9am – 7pm
  • Sunday, May 29 9am-2pm

Additional event information including drop-off and pick-up times for consignments can be found on the Facebook event page: Killington Beast of a Bike Swap Facebook Page

Event proceeds benefit the Killington Ski Club, which offers development programs for skiers.
