Sunday, Jan. 24 — RUTLAND — Football fans from across the region will head downtown this weekend to see the their favorite team play on the biggest screen in the area. The Paramount Theatre will be screening the NFC and AFC Championship match-ups this Sunday as part of its Sports Live in HD series.
The event is free and open to the public.
“There is nothing quite like seeing these games in HD on our nearly 1,000 square-foot screen,” said Eric Mallette, programming director. “It is a totally unique community experience and we are so proud to be able to offer it free of charge!”
The AFC Championship will be played at Jan. 24 at 3:05 p.m. with the New England Patriots taking on the Denver Broncos in Denver. The NFC Championship will be played at 6:40 p.m. with the Carolina Panthers hosting the Arizona Cardinals.
