Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. — CASTLETON — The Christine Price Gallery at Castleton University will feature the works of local artist Bill Ramage running from Jan. 11 through Feb. 12, with an artist reception scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 5 p.m.
Entitled “The Men’s Group,” the exhibit features a large pencil drawing highlighting the unique bond between Castleton professors Luther Brown, Bob Gershon, John Gillen, Bob Johnson, Bill Ramage, and Jon Scott. The group has been meeting once a month since 1991, totaling almost 300 meetings in the last 24 years.
“Over the years we have supported each other as we lived through some of the more challenging life events that males experience, and we have created a wonderful bond characterized by trust, honesty, empathy, and kindness,” said Ramage. “Each of us lives a more rewarding life because the others are so much a part of it.”
The Christine Price Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Center on the Castleton University campus and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more info, email galleries@castleton.edu.
