WOODSTOCK — The Woodstock Curling Club is offering two “Learn to Curl” clinics this season. There are many local people in the Upper Valley who curl regularly and they want to show you how much fun it is to play the game.

The first curling clinic will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17 and the second on Sunday, Jan. 31. Each will start at 7 p.m. at the Union Arena in Woodstock, Vt. The clinic costs $20 per person and is open to any individual age 12 and older. The club provides all equipment needed to curl; participants are asked to wear warm clothing and shoes with non-skid soles. Space is limited at each session. Register in advance by going to www.uppervalleycurling.org and clicking on “Learn to Curl.” The last Learn to Curl Clinic filled up very quickly.
