KILLINGTON — The Killington Active Seniors meet every Wednesday at The Lookout for lunch, but this past week they met Monday, Dec. 7, for their annual Christmas potluck luncheon at the Sherburne Memorial Library. The festivities included a Yankee Swap, music and Christmas carols by the Potluck Trio, and a delicious array of food. The group held its holiday celebration in the Ann Wallen room at the library.
Gerrie Russell, a member of the group, explained that Ann Wallen’s birthday was on Christmas Day, so the group found it fitting to hold its holiday festivities in the room named after her. Wallen was the founder of The Killington Art Guild, and a beloved member of the community. Also in attendance this year was Seth Webb, outgoing town manager, and Dick Horner, interim town manager.
