Locally-made treasures abound at Vermont holiday fairs.
Saturday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. — RUTLAND — The Vermont Farmers Market annual Christmas Holiday Show returns to the Holiday Inn on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Find over 60 vendors Vermont-made crafts and foods, plus a wide range of holiday décor.
Country bakers offer home-baked goods including gluten-free options, many varieties of pies, fudge and much more. Gourmet specialty food folks will have maple products. Find over 100 varieties of jams and jellies, such as cranberry/raspberry jam, horseradish jam, garlic jam, ginger marmalade, and pear almond jam. Plus, prepared foods, fall veggies, apples and fresh-pressed cider.
Bakers will be taking request for the holidays, and vendors can create specific, custom-made crafts.
Admission is always free. The Holiday Inn is located just off Route 7 south, Rutland.
