Friday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. — RUTLAND — Trinity Episcopal Church is bringing in the new year (on the Christian calendar) with “A Festive Feast” and Holiday Concert on Friday, Dec. 11 to which the Rutland community is cordially invited. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a concert of holiday music presented by women’s choruses Ladies’ Night Out and Maiden the Shade with organ selections offered by Trinity’s music director and organist, James Cassarino. At the conclusion of the concert, the audience will join in a procession led by the choruses into Nourse Hall for the feast portion of the event. Participants can expect full sensory titillation with all the sights and sounds, scents and flavors of the season!
Upon entering the bedecked hall, guests will be seated for a full four-course meal reminiscent of the medieval revels style banquets. Keeping to the theme, there will be festive entertainments that include the audience between the courses. Capping off the evening will be the drawing for four incredible raffle prizes: 50 gallons of heating fuel from Marcell Oil; greens fees for four at Proctor-Pittsford Country Club; series tickets for two for the VSO Sunday Matinee concerts at the Paramount; and a $500 gift card for Godnick’s Grand Furniture.
Tickets for “A Festive Feast” are $40 per person or $100 per family. Purchase tickets or chances at the raffle by contacting Wendy Grace at Trinity Church, 802-775-4368 or office@trinitychurchrutland.org. Seating is limited and will sell out quickly!
